PAYMENT

Payments are made via the website, all services must be pre-paid.

CANCELATION

Classes and Lessons: If under 24 hours, the client is charged full price. 

Subscription cancelation requires 30 days notice. 
Minimum subscription is 1 month.

LATE

Defined as 10+ minutes after the scheduled start time. 
Late Clients are charged full price.
With the exception of private lessons, Clients whom are late to a group class are required to warm up independently and may be asked to sit out and watch. 
All lessons and classes end at the scheduled time, no exceptions. 

OPEN GYM

Anchored Aerialist offers Open Gym to Clients for a fee. 
A Client is defined as a person who has completed a waiver, and has participated in at least one lesson per month, or is currently enrolled with Anchored Aerialist. 
Please ask about the current open gym availability.

OPEN GYM RULES:

Client understands and agrees:

  • To be on the training floor, you must have a current signed Agreement with West Side Studios & Theater (WST), carry liability insurance coverage, or be a client of an Approved Renter, such as Anchored Aerialist.

  • To take off all jewelry/zippers/watches. No gum or food, practice clean hygiene (to preserve the integrity of equipment)

  • You must pass a skill assessment to train at height (above 8’, inverting on a pole, or rigging/operating acro harness)

Anchored Aerialist skill requirement: 
Traditional climb (RL), descent is controlled
** you can always practice laps to your capacity

Unassisted Inversion

  • To use crash mats, do NOT train at height if you are alone in the space.

  • To be aware, avoid set crash mats, someone is training above you.

  • To assume additional risk: Cirque activities could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death, or damage to yourself, to property, or to third parties. You understand that such risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity.

  • To be kind and considerate. Look around in the space, acknowledge others, ask questions to clarify space use. If someone looks sickly or otherwise like they need help, check in with them.

  • To observe BASE RESET: Be responsible with equipment: CLEAN and put everything away where you found it.

  • To report unsafe conditions, damages/misuse of equipment/rigging, or anyone training beyond their skill level, or if bodily liquids, from human or beast, are somewhere in the space or on equipment.

  • WST reserves the right to revoke privileges for unsafe or inappropriate behavior. WST has a zero tolerance policy for substance use and abuse.

*MIND ALTERING SUBSTANCES: You are responsible for your physical and mental health. Consider your state prior to entering the facility. Consider the scent your clothes may be emanating; pot smoke to perfume, it could be offensive or cause someone else to have an adverse reaction. Even though marijuana and alcohol are legal, neither enhance your ability to perform activities safely. It is not permitted to smoke or vape inside or outside Suite 2 of 1200 Shakespeare Street. Self assessment includes prescription medications.
